One of my favorite and easiest meals to prepare that supports my body and its inflammatory responses is this bell pepper recipe!
Ingredients:
- 1-2lbs ground beef, chicken, or turkey
- 6-8 bell peppers (I use multiple colors)
- 1 24oz container of cottage cheese
- Italian Seasoning
- Garlic Powder
- Chili Flakes
- Oregano
- Paprika
- High quality sea salt
- Black pepper
- Cooking spray (I use avocado)
Directions:
- Wash the bell peppers and cut the tops off. Remove the seeds.
- Place the peppers in the air fryer and spray them lightly with cooking spray. Season with salt and garlic.
- Cook the peppers slightly at 375 degrees for about 4 minutes.
- Cook the ground meat and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika (or whatever you like).
- Mix the cottage cheese with Italian seasoning, oregano, chili flakes, and garlic powder.
- Once finished, fill the slightly cooked peppers with ground meat and top with the cottage cheese mixture.
- Cook the filled peppers at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes until the tops begin to brown and enjoy!
